I have a breastfed baby and when I had to go back to work I had to get her to take a bottle but she REFUSED! I tried over 7 DIFFERENT bottle but this one is the one that she took! I like this bottle as the nipple is very very soft unlike others I felt like my baby could “taste the plastic” Overall this is the best bottle for breast fed babies !

  2. Jasue

Not sure if it is normal for this wide type nipple Dr. Brown bottles, but mine is very hard to open/remove the cap. Never have the problem with my 4 OZ narrow ones

Baby only does good on wide neck nipples
These are the only bottles that work with Playtex wide neck bottle nipples.
She loves only the Playtex brand nipples and I despise the vent aire bottles with the screw on vented bottoms annoying to clean and u can’t make ahead of time to keep in fridge. Hey will leak. And u can’t hear in a bottle warmer.. But that’s what I’ve had to use with her since she was about 2 weeks old So I’ve been using the Playtex bottle with drop in liners since the fulls size nipple fits both type of Playtex bottles.
She has stomach issues and has to use the liquid ready to feed alimentum gross stuff
We have to heat her bottles to room temp at least. The liquid formula has to be kept refrigerated. It’s terrible to travel with lol
If I use the vent aire it will leak, if I use the bagged bottles they are hard to heat while out. Can’t make bottles to put in fridge for the night feedings or u have to pour them into something else to heat then back in the bottle with bag.
Why my baby gotta be so picky 😭
Not even kidding I have every major bottle. Brand out here. Standard nipple to wide. I’ve spent a few hundred on bottles trying to get her to take a diff type
Then I came across a comment that said Playtex nipples would fit in Dr browns options wide neck 🙌 thank u Jesus!
So we travel with this type and I can make a bottle up for the fridge and heat it in the same bottle when she’s ready to eat.
I know this post is long and may not help one other person lol but just incase there’s someone’s googling for days what bottle ring will fit Playtex nipple here u go! Thankful for that one person’s comment on another site for this info.
    * The regular dr browns wide neck bottle that has the blue air tube will not work with Playtex nipples. I ordered both because she didn’t specify which wide neck those nipples worked with. Has to be the options plus with the green tube thing.

The big flat nipple is breast-like in shape and our kid likes that. They can go in the dishwasher and are less likely than the smaller nipples to still have milk residue in them after the wash. The measuring bars on the side make it easy to see how much milk baby had, so if mom’s breast feeding, you can report back on how much was consumed pretty easily. (I finally learned to take photos with my phone of the before and after and do the math that way instead of trying to use my poor sleep-deprived memory for that.) They have little discs you can put in the top to seal them off during travel, and they have not started to leak even after quite a bit of use. No colic here, so I can’t speak to that, but it does seem like the tube and little star-filter-thing at the top do something to make him get hiccups less often than some of the other bottles we’ve tried. He is now old enough to try to hold the bottle with both hands, and the larger side and little dimples on the side make that easier for him than the smaller Dr. Brown’s bottles. Anyway, I know every baby is different and you usually end up trying different bottles out, but my kid likes these the best so I use them before any of the others on days when mom has to be away.

Works very well for new babies I love this bottle

  8. Loveme1994

Tried to use but milk was flowing too fast. I’ll wait until my baby get a little bigger

2 out 10 bottles that we bought leak. Even though our baby doesn’t even drink more than 4 ounces of formula, some of the bottles still leak from where the “screw ring” screws on to the bottle base. Which is odd because you would think that they would have a better quality control at the factory where they manufacture these bottles… but it is what it is I guess… it seems like the old school bottles were made of better quality than this new plastic stuff. I guess it’s true what they say: “They don’t make them like they used to.”

    muy bonito y eficiente.

Nice bottle, easy to clean. Baby tolerates feedings well. Less colic.
