Mainly got this for travel. So my daughter is now 3 and for airplane rides I prefer she has her own seat with her own car seat in it and she is comfortable, she plays games, watches movies, takes naps and enjoys snacks- she does all the things & we have an easy flight this way!
So this year I didn’t want to bring one of our regular every day car seats they are heavy and since she is over 40 lbs I read she could use something else like that is just booster or high back booster (don’t quote me but look it up) ANYWAYS I still prefer it have a back and the idea of a 5-point harness. Whenever I found this seat it was an IMMEDIATE PURCHASE!
It IS lightweight & easy to install! It’s easy to carry and buckle and she’s safe, sturdy and comfortable. I’m very pleased with this seat! We are using it as a 5-point harness car seat and since it worked so well we’ve also now been able to install it in my mothers car for her to pick up my daughter from school to help us out and it was perfect! We will be using it for a while, for all plane travel and rental car use as well as with grandma! WIN!
I definitely recommend this one especially for travel and occasional use but the fact it’s convertible and grows with our babies is wonderful and we’ll be using it for a long time as long as nothing damages it at any point. Great purchase and for a great price! Thank goodness!

Loved that it’s a slim design. When adding two more car seats to the row to accommodate child friends for a play date this car seat has always been the easiest to get into the row. We have two (one for each car). Have had for three years now and went from 5pt harness to booster with ease.
The rethreading of the harness as my son grew was a bit of a pain, but isn’t an every day thing.
The cup holders are a bit flimsy. They pop off easily even when screwed in. Have had to rescrew in one on each car seat.
Wish it reclined. Is a straight up/down design. That was an adjustment when we first bought as his little head would flop forward.
Is easy to remove / install and comes with the LATCH system.
We’re looking at replacing with a backless booster now that my son is 7, but only because he’s starting to complain as it looks like ‘it’s for a baby’. So the peer pressure for him is becoming a thing. But we’re in no rush.
Overall we have loved. Recommend it and extra bonus is inexpensive.

Lo compramos para que mi suegro tuviera una silla en su carro, pero a mi suegra le gustó tanto que terminó quedándoselo ella y regalándole a su marido el que teníamos. No es voluminoso, y no hay que maniobrar tanto para sentar al niño en él. Es muy práctico para pasear en ciudad, en general paseos cortos, ya que si el bebé o niño se queda dormido es bastante incómodo, no se reclina.

***Update> After using this carseat (as grandma’s) for 6 months, it was time to wash thecover and straps, and adjust the shoulder height, which since the 5 point system is being used, did require it to be removed from the car. This was not the first time ive had to take it in/out of car, but every time the LATCH SYSTEM has stayed tight. The car seat washed and dried nicely looking like new when it came out. ~Reminder to parents if drying in drier use low temp so not to melt plastic clips, this did not happen with this carseat, but with grandaughter’s main seat (different brand/style) ~ It went back together easily (if you cant remember how the straps go, take a picture before) and back in the car with LATCH. looks new again.
***I bought this lower priced harnessed booster for my car to use for my 18month old granddaughter that I watch 4days a week. I was glad that even at the lower price point Evenflo has continued to design a quality, comfortabe and safe booster seat. After it arrived at my house I took it out of the box and put the cup holders on (each screw in with one included screw) and set it on the car seat to transport it to granddaughter’s house. It sat so nicely, i knew once i had fitted her in (check shoulder strap height and such) it would fit very securly in my car. Installing with the included latch system was easy and a tight fit. Granddaughter is very comfortable in seat, and is lots of growing room for her over the next 4-5years (assuming it is never used in an accident, since you must ALWAYS replace with new then). Cover seems sturdy and looks to be easily removed for washing (seat would need to be uninstalled, then reinstalled since it is used with harness).

I bought this carseat during a recent Prime Day (the cost was still the same post-prime so be aware if you’re looking for extra Prime savings). The reviews looked good so I took a chance.
I’m glad I did! This carseat was purchased for my grandbaby who is now withing the size range this seat offers. It also transitions to a booster when that time comes.
Shipping was pretty fast. There was no noticeable damage to the box & no damage to the seat.
Setup is as easy as the base was for the base of the former carseat. It has extra straps for latching the top to the seat as well as space for the car’s seat belt to be utilized for even more security.
The former carseat latches were plastic. It always worried me. These are metal & give me more peace of mind. You will need to watch that on hot days, though.
The only addition I would like to see is more head protection. It seems really wide even with the “wings” which concerns me some fo side impacts. Perhaps something removable as the child grows to protect the head.
Otherwise, easy to adjust the straps, install, & secure. Would buy again.

I got these for the grandkids. If I was taking a long road trip they might wish for something with more cushioning but for just around town they work good and keep them safe and happy. The green is a really pretty color.
