I am using this monitor with 2 cameras and it does a great job – clear picture and sound quality, easy to use, lots of customizable settings (like 24 hour format and temperature in C), and a much further reach than a previously owned Motorola camera, so I can go in my garden without loosing signal. This is not a split screen, but cycles through the cameras (you can customize time intervals) what works really well in practice – for some reason I was set on a split screen for the second baby, but that is really not needed.
After using it for close to 2 years the parent unit went out on me, showing only a black screen while the sound still worked. I was able to get it going again after reconnecting the cameras, but the fix did not last long and it went black again. I reached out to customer service, and Emma C has been nothing but amazing. I got a reply within 10 minutes of my first request with detailed troubleshooting instructions. There was some back and forth and Emma always replied promptly. When the instructions only got the monitor back to life for a short time, I was offered a replacement unit which arrived the next day. I only had to pay shipping for the return of my original unit – InfantOptics is pretty adamant to get the broken unit back, what is understandable as otherwise people might get a replacement and sell the broken unit on ebay. Very pleased with the experience – highly recommend.

We went with this camera after suffering through disconnects and unreliable monitoring with the Arlo baby — just had to eliminate the possible factor of the internet connection (although we have a fast internet connection, but the Arlo just wouldn’t stay connected) and any possible security issues with wifi-connected devices. This camera is pretty basic, easy to operate, and the Active Noise Reduction feature performs well. The only cons are: video resolution/clarity not as good compared to the Arlo (especially if you zoom in), not sure if the temperature gauge is completely accurate, and we have to make sure the monitor battery is fully charged before going to bed or it may not last 7-8 hours overnight. None are showstoppers, and we are in general happy with the camera.

I purchased this baby monitor in December 2020 before my first child was born. I love that it doesn’t connect to wifi so there is no chance of hacking into it. The monitor remains connected with a clear picture even out in our yard, and the battery life on the monitor is excellent. The picture on the Pro is very clear, and I like the background noise cancellation feature so I don’t hear the sound machine in baby’s room. I have recommended this product to many soon-to-be moms. When pregnant with my second child, we ordered an additional camera to connect to the same monitor. After a few weeks, the cameras began frequently disconnecting from the monitor. It is easy to pair, but I typically wouldn’t realize it wasn’t connected until both kids were already asleep (cue sneaking into their rooms and hoping the loud “connected” beep wouldn’t wake them). I contacted customer service, and there was no troubleshooting that could fix that issue. Even though my monitor was 19 months out of warranty, they sent me a new monitor for free, and I’m back to loving this product! It works great with toggling between the two rooms so I can hear if either kid needs us during the night. I highly recommend this product!

I wanted to buy a monitor that was secure and I wouldn’t have to worry about the feed being hacked. This baby monitor serves that function wonderfully given the unique setup. This is one product I would recommend to friends and family. The camera is small and highly portable. The video quality during both night and day is well defined. I especially enjoy the remote maneuverability and zooming aspects, so if my little one rolls around, I can track her without any issues. Although I haven’t needed to use it much, the two way talk options offers good voice quality and is clear.
The little monitor is durable and works perfectly. I’ve dropped it multiple times on different surfaces by accident and haven’t had any resulting issues.
Overall, it’s a really good product and is worth the price. I’ve had multiple occasions where my little one would cover her face with the blanket, and having this monitor ensured there were no adverse consequences as a result.
Pros: – secure – good quality video and audio – durable – high portability – good battery life – night vision is good
Cons: – pricey (but worth it) – requires an electric outlet for the camera (a rechargeable battery version would have elevated this product exponentially)

We’ve owned and used this product regularly since 2021 and I recommended it to one of my nieces just this afternoon. My satisfaction with the product for this long, and the referral to my niece led me to leave this review. Our children are grown and grandchildren are coming back home now for day care and sleepovers. Having a monitor makes things way easier for us when we’re watching multiple kids. Our daughter already used Infant Monitor so it was an easy choice for us to purchase the same product for our home. Yes, it was slightly more expensive but in my opinion it eclipsed the quality of any other model we looked at. Easy to setup. Solid build quality. Remotely controlled camera head. Sharp image even in low light. Great signal strength and range within our home and into the yard. This unit performs every time, in light and dark conditions. I did have one minor operational issue with the monitor. Customer service was professional and quick to respond to my support request. All it took was one email to customer support. I was called back within 60 minutes and received a replacement unit on my doorstep within two days. No fuss, no drama. These are some of the many reasons I would strongly recommend purchasing a monitor from Infant Optics.
