Honestly I was so excited to get this Thule Spring . I saw it in person a few times and thought it was sleeker than my old GT for the first kid. The only standout feature is the large canopy that opens up to a huge mesh area good for airflow. BUT the mesh is super uncomfortable if you have a taller kiddo or older child that likes to hitch a ride now and again. Therefore not recommended for taller children. This did not occur in my old baby Baby Jogger GT. Secondly it’s much harder to close than the baby jogger although it ultimately folds smaller. My husband won’t even take it out because he loathes the closing mechanism. You have to lift the seat, reach under the actual seat and slide a button and then pull up. There’s really no way to do it if you have a kid in your arms whereas I can drop the GT while holding the baby. I have an SUV so the smaller fold makes no difference to me. The basket is more easily accessible but you ie Disneyland you don’t want a big open basket where people can easily snatch stuff . It doesn’t handle/steer as well with one hand as either the Uppababy Cruz or the GT. Even my GB pock-it is easier with one hand. And the multi-step harness is a huge pain to deal with if you have wiggly toddler. I’m back to using my Cruz because this stroller is pretty wretched. Thule should be ashamed of this product and discontinue it. Planning on buying a Baby Jogger GT2 to replace this huge let-down. And the fact that you have to then purchase a belly bar, cup holder , and snack tray separately makes the value terrible. Overpriced, poorly designed and I completely regret the purchase. Don’t make the mistake I did and pick it for its looks ….

Knocked off a star because the accessories that are standard on most strollers are not present and are pricey and the suspension isn’t great, BUT overall this is a fantastic and functional stroller. My favorite part is how easy it is to fold (even with a car seat adapter) and how maneuverable it is. I’ve even taken it through airports with ease. It’s great. Regarding the suspension, my suburban area has a lot of trees that litter various leaves, branches, seed pods, and I found that the ride was a little too bumpy for my newborn and she had trouble napping so I switched to my Thule jogging stroller for neighborhood walks. For all other excursions I use the Spring and keep it stowed in the trunk. Overall this is a solid buy and I don’t regret the purchase.

I live downtown in a Canadian city that gets real winter. I was waiting for snow before I made my review.
I do most daily life and errands walking with the stroller – only drive for big grocery runs, appointments that are too far away etc. So I have used it a lot in the past 3 months! Because of the small size you obviously can’t fit a lot of things underneath in the storage area vs a larger stroller but that isn’t really a con that’s just the side effect of a compact stroller. It works perfectly for me to pick up a few grocery items, wouldn’t work for a big shop.
Pros: – Very compact. This was really important to me. Doesn’t take up a lot of space while being used, it’s great for getting on the bus or shopping in small shops. Folds up nice and small to bring and store inside when it isn’t being used. – Adjustable: I’m just under 5′ tall and can use this perfectly, but so can my much taller husband by quickly moving the handlebar. – Easy to use: easy to push, easy to adjust the handlebar, easy to fold. – No problems navigating the sidewalks. Easy to go over curbs or bumps. Successfully walked on compacted snow when everything started melting after a big snowfall. Was walking on the streets and sidewalks with about 3″ of compacted melting icy snow – no problem – The teal cover is super cute. Not that it matters a whole lot but hey, it makes me happy. – With the addition of the “newborn nest” I was able to use this immediately with my little preemie. Baby actually fit very badly in the car seat from being so tiny, so I’m happy I went separately for the stroller instead of a travel system. – Generic rain cover ($6) works just fine with this, no need to buy the pricey matching brand one
Cons – Doesn’t push in fresh snow. It just doesn’t have the big wheels that would be needed for that. – I find it slightly hard to unfold but I think that will come with more practice. – Things that come standard with other strollers need to be purchased separately for this one. I will be needing the snack bar and foot rest when baby gets bigger and it’s frustrating that they aren’t included.

Had the Thule urban glide 2 and the bugaboo cameleon 3 with our first. Realized quickly that an all terrain stroller is key in Canadian suburbia and the bugaboo barely got used. Used the urban glide the most by far with frequent trips to the beach and park but it was huge and awkward to load in the car. This seems like the best of both worlds. Dislike the style of rain cover for all Thule strollers but not enough to avoid purchasing this stroller. Wish it also had the same drink tray as the urban glide. Love how much smaller it is though, and how it folds. Will update once we take it to the park/beach but so far love the look of it and how it rolls. Purchased the skateboard and footrest. skateboard is nice addition and sits not too awkwardly at back of stroller for sibling.
Update Feb 2024 – been using it for a few months now. Love how light it is to take in and out of the car, easy to push and turn. Rolls well on all terrain. Basket is a nice size. Purchased newborn insert but didn’t end of using it much. Overall I would buy this one again.

Very happy with our stroller purchase. It rides great, and folds up so compact. We used this for our first vacation and it was awesome in the airport. Easy to steer and can quickly fold it up to go on the plane. We used it in Disneyland too. There could be a bit more storage in my opinion but it is decent. Great purchase.

After months of research, I decided to pull the trigger on the new Thule Spring Stroller despite not having many reviews. Hopefully my review helps others trying to decide as well.
I needed a stroller in between light-weight and all terrain for my 2 year old. I wanted something compact but sturdier than most umbrella/ light weight strollers with the maneuverability of a 3 wheel stroller. I’ve compiled a list of pros/cons in comparison to other strollers that I have used (single Bob, Chicco Activ3, City Mini Gt, summer infant 3D light). It arrived packaged really well—double boxed and all parts were protected in foam and it arrived in perfect condition after being shipped all the way to Japan. My toddler is 30lbs and 35 inches tall.
Pros: much more compact than Bob, City Mini and Chicco, smooth ride comparable to Bob and City Mini, great maneuverability, large and easily accessible under carriage basket, quality materials, large and extendable sunshade, light and easy fold, price point (purchased for $243) and I can clip my diaper bag on the handle while the seat is empty without it tipping over.
Cons: I cannot maneuver it with one hand, the seat is not very deep and my toddler doesn’t sit as comfortably as other strollers. I have trouble going over 2-3 inch curbs and get stuck quite often but I would say the 5 point harness is my least favorite feature. Each of the 4 clips have to be clipped in individually and in a certain order (sides slid in place first and then the shoulder straps clipped) which is extremely challenging with a bucking toddler that doesn’t want to be strapped in.
Overall, I am partial to my Bob Single Stroller but it’s way too large for what I need right now. The Thule Spring stroller will be perfect for crowded, tight spaces and narrow doorways and will fit I the back of my small car.

SO I have tried many strollers from heavy duty expensive bells and whistles to cheaper lightweight. This is by far the best one, wish I had it for my first. It is made very well, high quality. Tall adjustable handlebar for great for tall parents like myself. One of my favorite features is that you can recline the child all the way back perfect for Disney. Has a nice storage space. It handles well, the steering is superb, it is designed sleekly so it’s not bulky and the one-handed collapse feature is also awesome. We had the Doona since he was a newborn, it was super convenient but he has outgrown it and I’m happy with this one. Highly recommend.

Just before this one we had baby jogger city mini gt2 and the main reason to switch was the basket accessibility, but thule turns out to be better in many ways: canopy is awesome (important if you live somewhere north-ish and have sun low in the winter), and the fold is very compact. Otherwise those two strollers are very similar. We primarily use it on the old paved sidewalks that all crooked by roots, and occasionally can go to short forest trails, it handles that just fine. I also got the leg rest right away, and I use babyzen yoyo footmuff with it, just because I like how compact and lightweight it is. Oh and I also love the wrists strap, very handy. I wanted a compact stroller and also tried uppababy minu v2, the seat on that one is horrible – no lumbar support because of the way seat designed to bend in the lower back when stroller is folded, and it also wasn’t good on rough terrain.

I am so shocked people have not talked about this amazing stroller I am so in love with! I was set on the Baby Jogger Citi Mini but came across Magic Beans on you tube and they explained the differences between these 2 strollers all the great functionalities I was sold on the Thule Spring. Pro’s: The quality, lightweight, easy to fold and store, baby is comfortable. If you are looking for a stroller that can handle outdoor walks/terrain but still want to take shopping or travel this is it! You won’t be disappointed.

I expected more durability for the price. The front wheel lock broke the second time I used it. We’re talking 15 minutes, twice. And the unfolding is so awkward and hard to do.
I loved the big canopy, the peekaboo window, the smooth drive, and telescoping handle. The one-handed close was amazing. But one-handed opening is not really possible and even with two hands it’s super awkward. Could be user error, could be me. I did love how my 2-year-old could climb up into it herself (And so did she). The basket was an okay size, bigger than most compact strollers so that was good. It was annoying that I had to buy the snack tray separately for another $32 but it worked well. Was annoying to have to take it off every time I put it in the car though. And the no parent console sucked too. But that’s a common compact stroller issue so not a big deal here specifically. Took forever to get here but the return was relatively easy. Took a while to get the refund back but I expected that since it took forever to arrive.
My search for the perfect compact, but still sturdy, stroller continues..

So far, I’m really pleased with this stroller. It is very rugged at the same time compact and nimble to operate. You can easily set it up to open and close. Also, really like the harness. Once you unlock, you can just take the baby right away without having to fish their hands out of the loop. My only concern was that it was a bit too expensive. But I guess good quality product comes at a premium price.

I love this stroller. It’s sleek and sexy. I used It while vacationing in Jamaica. It can survive sand and uneven terrain with ease. My toddler enjoyed her beach naps thanks to the recline!
