TLDR: We tried out three different bottle warmers. Mom Cozy, the Philips Avent, and the Baby Brezza (this one, the non-smart one). We ended up going with the Baby Brezza because it had buttons that were easy to push and was the most consistent in getting room and fridge temp bottles to the optimal drinking temperature.
The big issue with the Mom Cozy bottle warmer is that the buttons were so hard to push and even when using both hands and pressing hard, sometimes they still didn’t work. Not something I would be able to do with a screaming baby in one hand. Working buttons should be the bare minimum for a product. On top of that, this warmer heats via steam rather than water bath so the top of the bottle is very hot when you pull it out. Also, allegedly steam heating isn’t great for breast milk anyway and should really only be used for formula. Not an expert on that subject though.
The Philips Avent was very simple which I loved, but was pretty inconsistent in getting the right temperature. Sometimes it was too hot or too cold, even with the same amount of liquid in the bottle. Both room temp and fridge temp bottles had the same issue with drinking temperature consistency. Another big drawback was that this warmer didn’t have a sound or ding to let you know it was done. You just have to watch it and if you leave it in for too long afterwards, the water bath continues to heat it up and it gets too hot. We ended up doing this several times because we forget it was in there.
Finally, the Baby Brezza. We didn’t see any reason to spend extra money for the smart version of this product and still don’t feel we should have. This product has the option to do water bath OR steam heating. Neither of the previous two did both. The buttons were easy to push and although this one was less intuitive to use, it’s not that difficult once you know the two button process. Of the three we tested, this warmer most consistently got the bottle to a good drinking temperature. This warmer also has a timer with minutes and seconds countdown and it has a sound after it is done heating. The only drawback is that when you pour the water out, if you tilt it forward and then pour, some water gets trapped in the lip and then leaks down the front. If you just tilt it to the side and back and then pour, that seems to fix the issue. Overall, the best one of the three though.

I bought it as I was fed up with the one I had before, not knowing what to expect but I love it. It’s easy to use, it heats up consistently both formula and breast milk. For the formula it’s rather quick, breast milk takes a little longer so keep that in mind when heating it up. A great purchase.

We are 2 months in with our LO and waiting on a bottle warmer to heat her milk is definitely a new form of cruel torture. We had a different bottle warmer gifted to us (Grownsy 10-in-1) and it was fine for the first few weeks, but honestly felt that it wasnt the best out there. Not to say that this one is revolutionary, it just functionally works better and is easier to use. It is not much faster heating up milk, but if you’re using the steam feature it is about 30 secs faster than Grownsy (which again is nice when you have a screaming infant). Plus the lid stays on and doesnt get crazy hot to touch. We use the slow bath to warm BM in the bottle and it gets it right everytime so far. This is where it has helped us because it takes 5 mins and 20 secs to slow warm BM ( which is the preferred method to retain nutrients). The Grownsy took approx 30 mins this method. So we never did that! We have used it for about a week now and feel it was worth the switch. It also matches our other Baby Brezza products ( we have the sanitizer) so points on aesthetics for the countertop.

See images for reference. During night feeding, it’s impossible to see anything on the unit. The backlight is insanely bright and blue is tough to focus on. For those with poor vision or cataracts, it’s extremely difficult to read anything on it at night. And why they use tinted plastic for the water level, I’ll never understand. The actual buttons aren’t backlit so you can’t see them at all against the blinding blue light. There is no temp sensor, so the actual temperature is always a gamble based on what temp water is poured in. This unit is very difficult to use and causes more stress than it’s worth.
