The belt is a bit sharp and leads my daughter cries a lot. Not sure whether my baby’s skin is too soft to adapt this product. I return it immediately though.

I tried at least six different carriers before finally getting this one. The fabric is soft, there’s padding on the straps and seated part of carrier. Easily adjustable for both partners to carry baby. Both you and baby with be comfortable for long walks facing in and/or out. Wish I got this to begin with.

I’ve used several carriers, but this one is by far the best. The back support really makes a difference, especially on longer outings. I love how I can use it for both front and back carry, and it fits my baby perfectly as she grows. Super happy with this purchase!

This carrier has been a game-changer for us. The lumbar support makes it so comfortable, even for long periods, and my baby seems to enjoy the different carrying positions. The material is breathable, which is great for warmer weather. Overall, it’s stylish, functional, and worth every penny

I’ll write a bit of a lengthy review so other mamas can get a better sense of how this worked for us. I have a Petunia Pickle Bottom organic original Ergo and this one, the new 4-position 360. I’ll compare them briefly. First, a bit about my stature since this is a big consideration for baby-wearers. If your carrier is not ergonomically right for you, you’ll find yourself hurting or just plain not using your carrier.

I am 5′ 2″, 110 lb. and would consider myself a gal of ample bust so it was important to find a carrier that was comfortable in that way. The Ergo works beautifully for us so far. We’ve used it as a front (both directions) and side carry for shorter time periods (about 20-30 minutes at a time) and while little one doesn’t like to be confined at this age, it seems to be comfortable for us both, with no fussing. I use this running errands, grocery shopping, shorter walks, restaurant outings, and day outings where baby can get out frequently. If you’re an “active” mama, this carrier is great for around town but stick with a Kelty/Deuter/Osprey for hiking, etc.

    OVERALL
I find this version, the ERGO 360, to be even better suited to my stature than my original. I’m short-waisted and the body height of the carrier is just right for me. Not too tall but still supportive of baby’s head without being in her way to look at the world. The ‘deep’ pocket to accommodate baby’s bottom is great for her positioning and really comfortable for us both, especially when nursing as it helps the carrier keep its shape better than the original. The velcro waistband is a plus in my experience, as it stays put and does not require constant re-cinching. The extra width is much more comfortable for me, too, since I’m slender and the old waistband sat right on my hip bones, causing soreness. I also find I have no lower back pain at all after using the 360, which is a huge difference from the original. The convenience, comfort for both mama and baby, proper baby positioning, and styling are great on the new 360 and I recommend it highly!

    VELCRO vs. CLIPS
Yes, the velcro is louder than the clips on the original Ergo. Yes, it does catch on fabric if you don’t re-attach the velcro to itself when you take off the belt, but for me, the thickness and stability that the velcro provides at the waist are well worth taking an extra minute to avoid snags. It doesn’t need to be constantly re-cinched and that’s a big plus. If you put your little one down to sleep right out of the carrier, just leave the belt part on and undo it in another room. Noise problem solved. If you can’t get your little one down without being right next to him, just leave the belt on while you snuggle up until you can sneak away. It’s really pretty comfy.

    4-POSITION vs. ORIGINAL
We love the variety of carries, and baby loves to face out to see the world. This was the biggest difference, of course. We tried a ring sling but for me, it was painful on my neck and shoulders no matter how I had it fitted, and a baby-wearing pro even helped me fit it properly. She said they’re just not for everyone. The variety in positioning on the ERGO 360 gives both baby and mama a chance to rest certain muscles either from day to day or throughout the day if you absolutely have to carry for longer periods. The adjustable, wide base design is really great and the padding helps keep baby’s legs comfortable. On my original, the fabric was not as “cushy” at the legs and caused baby’s legs to have marks in very little time. In the 360, baby’s legs are more comfortable. I also think the depth of the seat helps with this.

    HOOD
The hood on the new version is just like the old version. Still easy to use. Difference is that this one tucks really easily into the foldover head support. Love that!

    SHOULDER STRAPS
I am enjoying the new straps and like the adjustable center back strap design. My husband can wear this by easily sliding the center strap down the shoulder straps. The little elastics help take up the slack of the straps when I’m wearing them. I don’t notice a big difference in comfort in comparison with my original ERGO.

    STORAGE
I do miss the ease of the front pocket, but have used the hood pocket to carry my ID, a card and house key. It works well for me as long as we don’t need to use the hood.

    DROOL PADS
The drool pads are too expensive, IMHO. My old ones only cover the straps but on this version, little one chews the front fold-over. Soon I’m sure some clever Etsy ladies will be selling all kinds of fun patterns. Right now there are only a few out there and I plan to sew my own:-)

    FABRIC
I find the fabric weight on this version to be just right. In weather above 85/90 degrees, it will be too warm for longer walks, but it’s really pretty comfortable and soft right out of the box.

Love this carrier! Makes wearing my baby soooo easy!

  9. S.Alma

  10. Amine

Got the sea foam blue, super nice light colour for summer. I like this better than my Baby Bjorn. It’s light weight, better snaps, has elastics for holding the extra length of strap so they don’t dangle. Has a sun hood that zips away. The padding is super thick on the shoulders and feels nice, Also! The lumbar support is excellent.

Te había hecho dos compras, pero una la cancelé (aún sigue apareciendo el cobro en tarjeta) ¿cuando se cancelara?

We bought this carrier for two big reasons. 1: I detest lugging around a car seat or maneuvering a stroller in public. 2: My husband and I are a tad paranoid about child-snatchers. When I bought it I figured I would be the one using it the most, but it ended up being my husband that primarily wears it (he thinks I’m too clutzy and is afraid I’ll trip and fall while wearing her) and he really likes it. From the times that I have used it I can say it was definitely worth buying and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. We bought the infant insert

Ergobaby Easy Snug Infant Insert Cool Mesh, Grey

and began using it by the time she was a week or two old. I was a little worried that it would get harder to wear our daughter as she got bigger, but at this point she’s 6 months and it’s still great. Keep in mind that I am not strong in the slightest, so if I say it’s easy to wear her then pretty much any healthy adult would find it easy. As long as you strap it on correctly it distributes the weight very nicely. Once I had the hip strap a little too high (more around my natural waist then down by my hips) and it made my lower back a little tired, but that’s a simple user error.Pros:* Simple to put on after you’ve done it once* Versatile; I’ve used it (5’9”, 135lb), my husband uses it (6’3”, 215lb), and my aunt used it (she’s about 5’5”) and we all liked it* It’s easy to grab and bring somewhere with you, unlike a stroller/carseat/etc* Keeps your baby within reach at all times (eases the child-snatcher paranoia), and keeps strangers at the grocery store from touching your baby with their germ-y hands* She really likes being in it. When she was super young she would fall asleep almost immediately after we put her in, which made grocery shopping much easier. Now that she’s older she really likes looking around, especially when my taller husband is using it.I read reviews talking about how the hip strap was really loud and I’d agree that it is fairly loud. It doesn’t bother our daughter at all because we really only use it when we’re out somewhere, not in the house, so we either undo the velcro outside where she’s distracted by other sounds, or we put her wherever she needs to be and then take it off later. So yes, it is a little loud, but it doesn’t cause us any problems. All in all this is one of my favorite things we bought off our baby list and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Super durable, easy to adjust, can’t imagine boarding flights without this carrier, very happy with it

I have been using an Ergo since week 1 with my daughter. I started with the older model and as soon as I heard about the 360 I was on that! This was a better buy than our crib, literally. I have back issues and knee problems and even though my daughter is now about 22lbs I can still comfortably carry her in this for long periods of time. This is a must buy for people who live in cities and also a great way to get chores done with a fussy infant. Up until about 9 months, if my daughter was irritable, I would pop her in the ergo and she would fall asleep next to me while I did laundry, cooked, etc. It is really comfortable and my husband likes it too. Since about 5 months my daughter LOVES the front carry position, but at that time Ergo didn’t make a front carry model. So we bought a cheap front carry carrier. It was soooo uncomfortable and much more confusing to use. If you are confused about how to use the ergo, they make some great youtube videos showing each position with a live baby. My daughter is now 16 months and a little small for her age, so I’m sure we will be able to back carry until she is 3 years old at least. I don’t have 2 kids yet, but I have friends with 2 and they say that having the ergo for the youngest while flying is very helpful. I traveled alone with my daughter at 7 months and opted for no stroller, just the ergo in the airport. Great idea, it was much easier!

Also as a note, I found this as a great way to help bond with my daughter. I couldn’t breast feed much so I was really worried about how I would get such a strong bond with her. I really think the skin to skin contact helped with that and personally think this helped me avoid any depression issues. That’s just my experience, but if you are concerned about bonding, I say get a carrier for a safe, and helpful way to bond with your baby.
