The concept was cool. The execution, not so much. This thing gets zero stars. This is my fourth baby and fourth convertible seat. I wish I would have just got the b*tax p0plar the first time. This thing gets zero stars.I have a telluride with rear screens, I had to move the seat so far (middle row where this was installed is all the way back) up nobody could sit up front. I’m not exaggerating.I got a new seat for my Car and put this in the truck and I can not get a good install. No master hope many times I do it and redo it, I still have way more than an inch of side to side movement at the belt path. I actually hate this seat. Chicco and Britax never did me like this lol.Nothing about this seat feels 300/400 dollars worth. Nothing.

After a surprise pregnancy, I started researching the major, important things like car seats in the first trimester. My oldest son was 14 at the time, and there weren’t rotating seats like this back in 2009. As a now older mom with back issues, the turning style caught my eye pretty early on. I’ve been nothing but impressed with this seat! We skipped the infant seat and just went straight to convertible, since baby wearing was a priority. It’s very sleek and fits well in our Ford Escape. Installation was a little annoying at first but once we figured it out, it’s very secure. If you’re on the tall side, be sure to install this in the middle, if possible. I’m average height (5’6″) and hubby is too (5’8″) and our knees are currently crammed into the glove compartment because of the recline needed for baby’s age. The seat is quite plush, so it seems comfortable for our boy. The app you can download is pretty nice too – it’ll tell you if the temp is too hot, if/when the chest clip gets unbundled, and even if you’re too far from the seat while the child is still buckled. Example – I ran into the store while my hubby stayed in the car with the baby and my phone started yelling at me “child in car”.

I saw a few comments stating this does not in any way, shape, or form fit into a Jeep. It definitely does. I have a Wrangler Unlimited and my husband has a Gladiator. It’s a little tight for someone taller than 5’ 7 or so, but it’s not terrible. You just have to play with the recline of the vehicle’s seats. It’s also way more convenient to have the swivel option than having to lug your 30lb toddler up into a rear facing carseat with already tight quarters.

Bought this car seat because it is supposed to be the best when it comes to the ease of rotating, but unfortunately that has not been my experience.Once you have to adjust the recline for rear facing (which happens once the child hits 20 pounds) the rotating feature constantly gets stuck. I talked to an Evenflo customer rep who said that is a common issue where they tend to get stuck and just told me you have to fully recline it to try to unstick it.I really wish this feature worked better, because I really like the car seat itself! It is just not worth it to me to pay $400+ for a seat that constantly gets stuck. I will definitely be buying different car seats for my next child.

These specific models are currently under investigation by the NHTSA for not meeting federal standards. Also had a friend who got in a car accident by themselves and the seat ripped from the base at the swivel with NO child present thankfully but if it is not strong enough to withstand a crash empty it most likely won’t protect your baby. JUST A PSA

Got into a bad collision and seat was correctly installed and then some and it came off the base and thank god the middle console that can go up to be an extra seat up front was up otherwise she would have went thru the windshield!!!

My daughter went from being able to self entertain in her other carseat for an hour plus to screaming and crying to get out after 5 minutes.

The ease of use. I don’t have to twist and hurt my back getting my grand daughter in her seat

No more hunching over trying to get my baby in and out of his car seat. I highly recommend this and love that it doesn’t take up too much space like other revolving car seats

I had to replace my car seats due to a wreck and chose this one for my child who is still rear facing. It was super easy to install, took less than 5 minutes in my Chrysler Pacifica and fits very tug and properly touches the back of the seat. The instruction card was very clear and easy to follow.
I will be purchasing another when my youngest is ready for a convertible carseat.
In the past, I’ve used the Graco Slim fit and the Safety1st. This seat is worlds apart from either of those. I was constantly checking the past seats to make sure they hadn’t loosened or moved after install because it always felt impossible to get the belt tight enough when installing them. This seat does not move once installed. My child is also super comfortable and had plenty of padding. I have no complaints with this seat and no concern with the safety of it either.

Love the quality, comfort, security and the swivel. My son doesn’t slouch his head anymore or go forward when we accelerate like his infant seat. (Yes the buckle was at his armpits)
I don’t really like that it doesn’t have a carry handle. Tonight I realized that if my son falls asleep we have to physically remove him when we get home which wakes him up instead of being able to easily carry him in the seat still sound asleep. We get in the door and usually have a few minutes to set things down before he wakes up. Also there’s no pull over shade to keep the sun out of his eyes in the car. Pretty dissapointed about that. And I can’t easily put him in the stroller or grocery cart like my other infant car seat. My son just turned 5 months so we’re in this in-between stage where he’s almost too big for his infant seat, and can’t sit on his own in a shopping cart. So there’s that, but I hate carrying him in his infant car seat cause its so darn heavy with him in it and it doesn’t swivel so I hurt my back and arms almost everytime taking him places and it makes me not want to leave the house. I know I just contradicted myself there from an earlier statement I made but I’m so 50/50 on which seat to use right now BTW I’m only 4’11” and live on the 3rd floor of an apartment with lots of stairs so yeah tough predicament.

I did so much research before deciding and went through lots of video reviews. I was looking for ease of installation but also super durable and comfortable. My son absolutely loved the seats comfort and cushion. I couldn’t believe it he feel asleep both times he was in it the first time.
This is going to be crucial as we often take long road trips to visit the in laws. I needed the rotation bc it’s hard for me to get him in the seat and avoid bumping his head when he wiggles. He is 14m now and I expect him to grow pretty fast so let’s see how this goes. Happy with the purchase. I could have spent less or more but for me I need the product to work. I will pay more if it’s what I need to do. I thought this was a good value and the slim design is best for more compact cars. Happy with this purchase

Received the car seat, it was manufactured a year ago already so it won’t be good for a full 10 years for us. Annoying.

Es bueno muy práctico y cómodo solo los ganchos del cinturón son muy duros y pueden llegar a lastimar las piernas de tu bb pero tiene solución. Excelente compra

We have been using this car seat for almost six months now and I am still very happy with it. It is so easy to turn and adjust and our toddler is very comfortable in it. We have had no complaints or issues at all. It was expensive but we use it every day and will for several years to come.

Perfect for my grandchild. My wife and I are not Spring chickens anymore and this car seat allows us to secure the toddler properly without stressing or struggling because the chair rotates 90 degrees! The child faces you for fastening or releasing the straps, totally makes sense. It’s a real back saver too!
Sarah –
I love the rotating feature. Only reason I bought it. Like others have said, it saves my back. But also learned that it’s so easy to adjust to your child! You can simply extend or lower the height instead of messing with the straps like other car seats have you do. My daughter seems like she’s comfortable it in. I don’t find much use with the app but the car seat itself I love! If I had to find a con it would be it’s still a little bulky for my liking but honestly it’s worth it.
GKWZ –
Seriously, though, hands-down, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I have scoliosis and it is hard, leaning over and setting my three-year-old in and out of a vehicle, until I bought this car seat. It completely turns to the side and makes it so easy for you to get your child in and out. It also does not pull your child to the side and it’s easier on them as well. I highly recommend this car seat, and I will have this for all of my future children! lol
Kmegs –
Fairly easy to install after watching YouTube. Much easier to place a little fussy man into than a non rotating. A little bulky, but seems sturdy so far!

This car seat has been a real game-changer for us due to its ease and convenience. Being able to rotate the seat out toward us to get a wriggly 2 year old into his seat without difficulty has made life so much easier. The seat is very quick and easy to install and then so easy to buckle in your kid. One thing I was unsure about before buying was that it appeared to be extremely reclined looking in the photos of it in rear-facing position, so I was concerned my toddler would be way too leaned back and hate it. However, upon installing it and adjusting the recline to the appropriate level (which is has an indicator for so that you know where it should be), that is not an issue & he is definitely sitting comfortably upright in there, not leaned back awkwardly. There’s plenty of legroom and gives me the confidence and peace of mind that he can remain rear-facing comfortably for an extended period of time, and then when the time comes to swap to forward-facing, I’ll be able to just use this same seat forward. I absolutely recommend this car seat and think it makes parents’ lives so much easier, especially with toddlers who are notoriously difficult to get buckled in.
